It's Festive French comfort meets the dim sum trolley! Every weekend and Christmas from 7 Dec to 1 Jan, Summer Hill’s popular brunch trolley features a festive spread to gather for.
Start off with a Crab & Smoked Salmon Tart - flaky AOP butter-made puff pastry filled to the brim with celeriac, aioli and fresh dill. A rustic slice of house-made Paté de Campagne follows, each slice infused with spices, ground pork and chicken livers.
To warm the belly up, Petit Salé aux Lentilles features slices of smoked pork belly nestled in a nourishing stew of Puy lentils. Once a poor man’s dish, diners are invited to partake in faire chabrot, an old custom of pouring some wine to wash the finished bowl with and drink up every last drop. Done now in the spirit of appreciation for having a meal and loved ones to share it with, it’s the perfect note to start a meal to celebrate another year.
Other highlights include a whole bone-in Baked Christmas Ham, glazed in port & honey with fragrant cloves studding its caramelised fat. Rolling up behind it is a Wagyu Roast Beef, studded with fresh garlic & rosemary. The slices of buttery beef are served with a festive classic Sauce Periguex - a luxuriously rich blend of truffles, red wine & demi-glace. All of this of course comes with trimmings and sides such a creamy Gratin Dauphinois, Brussels Sprouts Amandine and more for a total of 15 different dishes adorning the festive trolley.
And don’t forget dessert with a Bûche de Noël featuring moist chocolate stout cake wrapped in a silky chocolate frosting, a comforting Pumpkin Pie and a Snow Cone Bar the kids will love!

It’s Thanksgiving with a cosy French accent this year! The French are no strangers to talking turkey - the bird is traditional at Christmas throughout the country. And if you know & love Summer Hill’s signature Roast Chickens, you’re going to fall in love with our Butter Roasted Whole Turkeys. If you’re worried about dry turkey, worry not - each one is infused with our house brine to lock in moisture and then spatchcocked for a more even roast.
Of course you can’t have turkey without all the trimmings, and a Foie Gras, Sage & Mushroom Stuffing is perfect to soak up the wonderfully rich gravy. Brussel Sprouts Amandine, glossed in brown butter and toasted almonds, creamy Mashed Potatoes & a medley of Glazed Carrots, Beets & Pumpkin round out this abundant harvest of flavours.
But before you get to the main event, be welcomed to the table by warm Gruyere Cheese Twists and a piping hot & melty Brie en Croûte, wrapped in puff pastry and filled with cranberries, hazelnuts & herbs. Perfect for a glass of bubbly while everyone settles in at the table.
The meal then starts proper with a warm bowl of Cream of Butternut Squash and a wintery Duck Confit & Fennel Salad tossed in a garlic & citrus confit vinaigrette to whet the appetite before the main bird arrives.
Wrap up the evening in pure comfort with a classic slice of homemade Pumpkin Pie, freshly baked Valrhona Chocolate Chip Cookies and a chance for the table to come together for a fun activity over dessert to end the Thanksgiving evening.
Hearty comforts come with the fall harvest as we snuggle up for an autumnal feast, bringing in flavours from the Southwest of France to the Brunch Trolley this month.
Crisp Pear & Roquefort Salad scattered with toasted hazelnuts, a moorish Egg Cocotte enriched with Borderlaise sauce and dip into the river with creamy, grilled Trout Rillettes.
Tuck into a Duck Confit Hash "Sarlardaise" a delicious mix of duck confit, duck fat potatoes, onions and parsley. And if you're a fan of classic French countryside cooking you'll be nourished with a classic Petit Salé Aux Lentilles, featuring salted pork belly and tasty Puy lentils.
To finish off this feast with a sweet note comes a delicate Pumpkin Crème Caramel and an intense Flourless Chocolate Chestnut Cake that begs for a hot cup of coffee.
