About Us

We’re a French restaurant in Singapore serving up hearty, comforting meals. We started in 2018 in Sunset Way as a small takeaway shop that served the neighbourhood. 6 months into our venture we realised what our customers really wanted was a restaurant and slowly we grew into that. In 2022, as we moved out of the pandemic, we also moved to our current premises on Orchard Road.

Our team has worked together even longer than Summer Hill has been around. 15 years, starting at the now defunct Cocotte on Dickson Road where our signature Roast Chicken was first conceived. The only reason we wanted a classic poulet rôti on the menu was because you couldn’t order a great roast chicken in a restaurant at the time. And we knew the great joy the simplicity of  a properly prepared chicken brings was worth gathering for. This ethos has guided us and never led us astray.

In our journey together we’ve cooked and served many more meals and new, delicious dishes. But our commitment to always providing a space to gather has never changed. Where memories can be made and nourished over a hot meal with friends and family.
